Zachs Farwell!!!!!!!!

We had 48 for dinner!! It was soo fun to have all Mikes family down and visit. We know what a sacrifice it was to drive down and drive back the next day!! Great memories!!!

Daren and Julies Family Fun 8/17/09

Daren my brother, his wife there 5 kids and Julie and her son all came to visit. It had been years and was tons of fun!!

Trystons RETURN!!!

Tryston came back to stay with us!! We had her when she first came to foster care in Jan. She then went to live with another family for a few months. Due to health reasons from the foster mom she is back with us!

Garage

We have been working on the garage for a few months and it is almost done!!! It took Mike and the boys about 6 hours to drywall, this past week end. The last thing is muding, taping and textureing. It will be nice to finally have it done, since we started in 2004 with the cement floor!

Moriah

We were so happy to have Moriah home for a few days in the beginning of May1! She took care of all the hair cuts for the fam and several clients. I think she made more in 3 days here than she makes in S.L for 2 weeks!! We love and miss her!

Good Bye Ghitzell

We got back from Spring Break On Tuesday4/14/09. Our sad news was the Judge ordered Ghitzell to go live with her maternal Grandmother . We were so sad, but know her Grandma loves her!! So on Friday we sadly packed her up and went to the Social Service office and turned her over to Grandma. We will never forget the joy she brought us for 26 days!!

SPRING BREAK IN CALIFORNIA

Well we went to Ca. for Spring Break, part of it anyways. I left with 6 kids and drove 12 hrs to get there. Mike stayed home and started our garage!!! We had a great visit with my family.We just ate, swam and watched movies for 3 days. The kids loved it. Here are a few pics!! We missed Moriah and Dad. We loved seeing Barbs little boys!!

Ghitzell

On March 21 sweet Ghitzell, 17 months tomorrow, came to our home. She is soo cute and heavy to pack around. She loves men, especially Mike and Zeb. If she even here's Mikes voice she starts running toward him and crying. He then has to hold her or she follows him around crying. He loves it cause he just goes down stairs and watches TV with her. He loves getting out of the honey do list, because I don't want to her her cry for him all night, I am happy to have him spend quality time with her!!! She will have nothing to do with the other our kids, she crys if they look at her. We are hoping she will adjust in the next few weeks and let others help and play with her. We love her so much already!!

Well we started out a new year with tons of basketball games! In Feb. Zebs team went to Zone, we spent a few nights in Reno watching the boys play, and their team did great!!! They took first. The following weekend we loaded up the big van and headed to Vegas (8 hrs) to see them play for State! They didn't do so great! But we were so happy to see Grandma and Grandpa, Teichert and Uncle Johnny! It was so fun to visit and spend some time with them and we were grateful for their support to drive over 8 hrs to watch Zeb, it meant a lot to Zeb. Also Moriah and Zach came from Salt Lake to watch Zeb! It was so great to have everyone show up, even if the team didn't. LOL We were also able to attend the Las Vegas Temple!!.......HERE'S SOME FUN PICS FROM ZONE AND STATE.

Foster Angels

We have been involved in Foster Care since Christmas break. Our first experience we were asked to babysit a 10 month old boy for 5 days while his foster parents were out of town. His name was Blain, he was sooo fun to have around. The boys spoiled him rotten and loved him to death. We dragged him all over Nevada to watch Zeb's basketball games. This is Blain!!!! We have babysat since!!

On 1/5/09 Cherish came to join our family. Sheis 5 yrs. old and goes to kindergarten all day. We hope she will be with us a long time! It has been so fun to have a GIRL in the house She is so helpful and loves attention and I love to give it to her. She loves church, teasing the boys and helping me. The boys, of course, think 5 yr. old girls are annoying but try to be tollerant with her by helping her with homework, reading to her and teasing her!!

On 1/15/09 Social Services called and asked if I could take a 4 month old baby!!!! Oh my did I ever WANT to. I reminded them that I worked full time and would hate to put a baby in daycare, but I could take her temporarily, unless there was no one else to take her. They called back and stated they found a home for her but they would be out of town for 4 days. So we have had Tryston for 4 days! What an angel! We love her so much it is hard to giver her up today. Here are a few pics of the girls on Sunday! This is the happiest baby ever, she smiles, talks and laughs and loves to be kissed and snuggled. I want her sooooooooooooo bad, I would have kept her if I did not work, I really thought of quitting my job!!!
